A Tribute to Pam

Donate in Pam's Memory

Our friend and longtime president, Pam Yurgartis, passed away in 2021.

Pam was our steadfast leader for 12 years. As president of the Potsdam Holiday Fund from 2009, until she passed away, Pam led our board through some lean years as well as our most successful fundraising year. Throughout her years as president, she managed our program with grace, determination and optimism. Pam always had a smile and a kind word for everyone, including the hundreds of families who received much-needed assistance each year as well as the many volunteers and donors who made the program possible.

Even though we were unable to hold “Santa’s Workshop” and our food basket program in 2020 and 2021 because of the pandemic, donations made in honor of Pam in 2021 helped to provide warm clothing, gifts and food to over 900 people – parents, children and senior citizens who were going through a very tough time.

We miss Pam terribly, but we hope we can honor her memory by carrying on the good work she did so well.
