For more than 30 years, the Potsdam Holiday Fund Inc. has been a quiet but constant source of hope for families and senior citizens across the Townships of Potsdam, Madrid, Brasher, Stockholm, Hopkinton, and Lawrence, New York.

We believe the holiday season should be filled with warmth, joy, and dignity—but for many in our community, it can be a time of stress and uncertainty. That’s where we come in.

Powered entirely by volunteers, we work each year to ensure that no child goes without the simple magic of the holidays. We provide new toys and warm winter clothing to more than 400 children annually, giving them not just gifts, but moments of happiness, confidence, and belonging.

We also stand beside families and over 120 senior citizens in need by providing food vouchers—helping to put meals on the table and ease the burden during a challenging time of year.

Behind every number is a neighbor, a family, a story. A child opening a gift with excitement. A parent feeling relief. A senior knowing they are not forgotten.

Our mission is rooted in compassion and community: to make sure that, especially during the holidays, no one feels alone.
